Aaron Yan has stepped up to call for a strike due to crew death on new drama

Aaron Yan has stepped up to call for a strike because of unsafe working conditions that lead to the death of two crew members. On March 11, 2022, thirty-eight year old cameraman Huang and thirty-four year old sound recorder Wang fell off a cliff during filming.

The crew was working on the set of a new romantic vampire drama series starring Aaron Yan. An active occupational investigation was opened at the waterfall in Miaoli County where the crew was filming in Taiwan.  Yan stated on March 12, 2022 that he has suspended his cooperation with the drama company until they can provide an explanation about the accident and a guarantee that they will provide a safe environment for everyone working there.
