The 34th Golden Melody Awards is a music awards ceremony that took place on July 1, 2023, at the Taipei Arena in Taiwan. The awards celebrate outstanding achievements in the Mandarin, Taiwanese Hokkien, Hakka, and Formosan-languages popular in the traditional music industry. 

The awards ceremony is considered one of the most prestigious entertainment events in the Chinese-speaking world and is recognized as the equivalent to the American Grammy Awards in the region. The 34th Golden Melody Awards celebrated linguistic diversity, with big wins for singers who primarily sing in Mandarin as well as artists singing in Taiwanese, Hakka, and indigenous languages.

The awards cover a wide range of categories, including Best Male/Female Singer, Best Album, Best Song, Best Music Video, and more.
