SYNOPSIS

In trying to solve the mystery behind his mother's disappearance, Yu Wei's eyes are opened to another world as he begins his studies at a magic school. Despite many stumbles along the way, he not only gains a group of lovely friends but also finds a way to rescue his mother while unravelling the secret behind a conspiracy.

In Crystal Town, many have attempted to steal the magical treasure known as the Holy Crystal yet failed time and again. At this time, the young Yu Wei has returned with his mother to their hometown to visit his grandparents. After getting into a car accident, Yu Wei witnesses his mother being dragged away but could do nothing as he falls unconscious.

After waking up, Yu Wei learns that he was saved by a girl named Cheng Mo Li and currently recuperating at the hospital. Eager to save his mother, Yu Wei returns to the scene of the accident. However, it was like his mother has disappeared from face of the earth along with any clue to prove that the accident really happened. Yu Wei decides to seek help from his grandmother that he has never met before, so he takes along Cheng Mo Li and heads for Crystal Town.

After a series of circumstances, he accidentally gains admission to the prestigious Merlin Academy and learns that he was chosen by the Holy Crystal to embark on the path of being a magician. The turn of events has left Yu Wei very frustrated, what's worse, Cheng Mo Li ends up being his assistant!
